Beautiful Vintage original Mid Century Milo Baughman for John Stuart wall unit made of metal tubing (believed to be brass) thick glass shelves, deep black lacquered cubicles with light tone thick burl wood veneer exterior. The metal system of this unit comes apart with screws. It's not a one-piece unit. We have taken this apart and put together a few times. Note- The larger lower left cubicle - the hardware - the folding lid support hinges that turns the door into a flat shelf is broken. (see pic) It can be fixed.  We will see if maybe we can fix it before pickup. Some minor damages on the black lacquer a mostly on areas not seen. These pieces are hard to come as time goes by. Located in our storage in Astoria, NY at the moment for easy pick up and parking. Made in Spain. This pieces retail for to $4-$5,000. For the price posted with its flaws you are getting a brand name MCM piece with resale value. 

John Stuart (1894/1895 – March 1966) was an
American furniture manufacturer, importer, and designer who played a significant role in the Mid-Century Modern (MCM) movement, particularly through his company. He was known for blending high-quality, modern residential furniture with European, particularly Danish, imports. Stuart, who had been in the furniture industry since 1913, was named president of John Widdicomb Company in the early 1940s and by then had formed John Stuart, Inc.
